Derma Unit

The Derma Unit is the centrepiece of Almirall's Centre of Excellence in Dermatology. The Research and Development division consists of the following departments:

• Pharmaceutical Development
• International Regulatory Affairs
• Global Clinical Development

The central duties and responsibilities of the Derma Unit include the development of new drugs for the treatment of skin diseases, clinical development and regulatory approval, as well as further developments and themaintanance of the products on the market

Both the product range and the pipeline are expanded through licence agreements by Business Development & Licensing.

International marketing of Almirall’s core dermatological products is managed by Global Marketing & Medical Affairs Dermatology department in Reinbek.
