Dandruff

  • With dandruff, please ensure that the scalp and hair are cared for gently wherever possible.
  • e.g. where possible, the hair should not be washed too often and only with lukewarm water and then rinsed out thoroughly.
  • After washing the hair, wrap it in a towel and ideally allow it to dry by itself or blow-dry at a lukewarm temperature. Special shampoos such as de-squaman® Hermal or Crinohermal®anti-dandruff shampoo are suitable.
  • The sun's rays dry out the scalp and the hair. As a preventative measure, you can treat the tips of the hair with a hair oil and wear something on your head.
  • If you are suffering from seborrhoeic eczema, it would be better to go without wearing something on your head as sun and air can have a positive effect in this case. If sebum production is heavy and the hair gets oily quickly, daily hair washing with a mild hair shampoo will be necessary.
  • Head massages stimulate the circulation of the scalp and the metabolism and sebum production. Wearing your hair short makes caring for your scalp easier.
